UNIQLO Field at Dodger Stadium

UNIQLO Field at Dodger Stadium guide

The Dodgers' ballpark opened in 1962 in Chavez Ravine, on a hill just north of downtown Los Angeles, and it is the third-oldest stadium in the major leagues. With room for around 56,000, it has the largest capacity in baseball. Its mid-century design, palm trees beyond the outfield and views over the hills at sunset are a large part of its appeal.

The seating rises in five levels, from the field level up to the top deck. The loge and reserve levels behind home plate are the sweet spot for seeing the whole field at a reasonable price. The pavilions in left and right field are separate sections with their own entrances, and fans who buy there generally stay there for the game. The top deck is the cheapest and highest, with the best view of the city.

The stadium was built around the car, and getting there still revolves around it. Parking lots surround the stadium on the hill, but traffic into and out of Chavez Ravine is slow, and many fans arrive well into the early innings. Allow far more time than the map suggests.

The Dodger Stadium Express bus runs from Union Station and is the main public transport option; it uses dedicated lanes for part of the route. Ride-share pickup after the game can involve a long wait. PickStub is an independent marketplace and is not affiliated with the ballpark or any team that plays there.
