Refund policy

This page summarizes how refunds work on PickStub in plain language. The binding version is the “Refunds, cancellations and penalties” section of our Terms of Service; where the two differ, the Terms prevail.

All sales are final

Every ticket sold on PickStub is a final sale. Once your order is confirmed, it cannot be canceled, exchanged or refunded because your plans changed, you bought the wrong date, you selected the wrong quantity, or you can no longer attend. We buy your specific seats from the seller the moment we confirm your order, which is why the sale cannot be unwound afterwards.

Before your order is confirmed, your card is only authorized, never charged. If we cannot secure the seats, the authorization is released and you pay nothing.

Canceled events

If an event is canceled outright and is not rescheduled, you receive a full refund of the ticket price to your original payment method. You do not need to request it: we process it once the cancellation is confirmed by the organizer or the venue, and we email you when the refund is issued. Depending on your bank, it takes 5 to 10 business days to appear on your statement.

Postponed or rescheduled events

Your ticket stays valid for the new date. A postponement is not a cancellation: the same ticket, same seat, admits you on the rescheduled date, and no new ticket is issued. We email you as soon as a new date is announced. Because the ticket remains valid and usable, a postponement does not entitle you to a refund.

If the organizer or venue runs its own refund window for a specific postponed event, we pass that option on to you and follow their terms and deadlines.

Venue and lineup changes

A change of venue, start time, opening act, lineup, or seating configuration does not entitle you to a refund, as long as the event goes ahead and your ticket admits you. We notify you of any change we are told about.

If your tickets do not arrive

This is what the PickStub buyer guarantee covers. If valid tickets do not reach you in time for the event, we replace them with tickets of equal or better value, or we refund you in full. Contact us from your order page as soon as you have any doubt, and always before the event: a report made after the event has taken place is far harder to resolve.

Exceptional cases

Outside the cases above, refunds are granted only at our discretion in genuinely exceptional circumstances. If you believe yours is one, write to us from your order page or at [email protected] with your order reference and we will review it.

Chargebacks

If something went wrong, contact us first. Opening a chargeback before giving us the chance to fix it usually takes longer than a direct resolution, and we defend disputes for orders that were delivered as described.
