Le Parc des Princes

Le Parc des Princes guide

The Parc des Princes, in the 16th arrondissement on the south-west edge of Paris, is home to Paris Saint-Germain and holds around 48,000. It is a compact, enclosed concrete bowl built in the early 1970s right beside the city's ring road, and its curved roof and steep stands make it one of the loudest grounds in Europe.

The four stands are known by name. The Paris and Borelli stands run along the touchlines, and their upper levels give the best views of the whole pitch. The Auteuil and Boulogne stands sit behind the goals, with Auteuil home to the most vocal organised support. Because the bowl is small, almost every seat is reasonably close to play.

The stadium's age shows in the narrow concourses and in queues at half-time, so arriving early and planning around the break helps. French clubs may check identification against named tickets at the gate.

The Métro is the easiest way to get there: Porte de Saint-Cloud on line 9 and Porte d'Auteuil on line 10 are both a short walk from the stadium. Parking is scarce, and the ring road next to the stadium is one of the busiest roads in Paris. PickStub is an independent marketplace and is not affiliated with the stadium or any club that plays there.
