AT&T Stadium in Arlington, between Dallas and Fort Worth, opened in 2009 as the home of the Dallas Cowboys. It is one of the largest stadiums in the NFL, with a standard capacity of around 80,000 that can be expanded with standing areas for the biggest events, and it hosts college football, concerts, boxing and international football as well.
Its defining feature is the enormous video board that hangs over the centre of the field. It is so large that many fans in the upper levels watch much of the game on it. The retractable roof and air conditioning mean the weather is rarely a factor, which is a real advantage in a Texas September.
The lower level along the sidelines gives the best view of the field and carries the highest prices. The upper levels are high, and from the top rows the players are small, though the board makes up for much of that. The end zone party areas sell standing room tickets that are the cheapest way in, with no assigned seat.
Arlington has no rail transit to the stadium, so nearly everyone drives, takes a shuttle or uses a car service. Parking lots surround the stadium and open several hours before kickoff, with tailgating in many of them. Parking passes are sold separately. PickStub is an independent marketplace and is not affiliated with AT&T Stadium or any team that plays there.
