About Sevilla FC

Sevilla FC come from Andalusia, in the south of Spain, and are one of two long-established clubs in a city that takes the divide between them seriously. Their own ground is the Ramón Sánchez-Pizjuán, but a club fixture list is only half home matches, and the listings on this page frequently cover the away half.

That is worth understanding before you buy. A listing on this page is for a match Sevilla are playing in, and the venue named on it is where that match is being held, which may be someone else's ground. Away allocations at Spanish grounds are typically small, placed in a designated section chosen by the home club, and sold under the home venue's rules rather than Sevilla's. Read the venue on the listing rather than assuming a trip to Seville.

Timing works the same way it does across the Spanish league. Dates are published far ahead of the season, but kick-off times are confirmed only once broadcasters have selected their fixtures, often just a few weeks out. Anything from a mid-afternoon start to a kick-off well after nine in the evening is normal. The ticket holds either way, but travel plans built around a guessed kick-off time do not.

For an away fixture, the practical advice is much the same at any large Spanish ground. Arrive earlier than you think you need to, since visiting sections are often served by a single entry point. Carry photo identification. Check the specific venue's policy on bags before you set off, because it is set by the home club and varies. And expect the surrounding area to stay lively for a long time after the whistle.
