Chase Center opened in 2019 in the Mission Bay neighbourhood of San Francisco, when the Warriors moved back across the bay from Oakland. It holds around 18,000 for basketball and was designed as an arena that feels full and loud even with a modern number of premium seats.
The lower bowl wraps around the court and is the most expensive part of the building. The upper bowl is steeper than in many older arenas, which keeps the view clear even near the top, and the sideline seats in the upper bowl are often the best value for watching the whole game. The courtside and club areas are among the most expensive seats in the NBA.
The building sits beside a public plaza with shops and restaurants that are open around events, and it is close to the waterfront. The neighbourhood can be windy and cool in the evening even in summer, which catches out visitors who expect California warmth.
The Muni T Third Street line stops right by the arena, and the walk from the Caltrain station at Fourth and King takes around fifteen minutes. Ferries also serve the area on event days. Parking nearby is limited and expensive. PickStub is an independent marketplace and is not affiliated with Chase Center or any team that plays there.
