NFL International Series tickets

The NFL International Series brings regular-season American football to stadiums outside the United States. The league has staged these games to reach fans who would otherwise have to travel to see a professional game, and the series has grown into a regular part of the season.

The series began with games in London in 2007 and has since expanded to other cities, including Mexico City and venues in Germany. Matches are played in large stadiums that are usually home to football clubs during the rest of the year, which gives the games a different feel from a standard NFL Sunday. The crowd is often a mix of long-time followers and people seeing the sport live for the first time.

A roster of teams takes part, and the participants change from season to season, so the fixture list is different each year. The games count in the regular-season standings, which means the teams involved are playing for real, not in an exhibition. That is part of the appeal: the result matters to the season.

For a visitor, an International Series game is a full-day event. Fans arrive early, the stadium fills with team colours from across the league, and the atmosphere blends American football traditions with the local setting. It is one of the few chances to see an NFL game on this side of the Atlantic without crossing it.
