About Seattle Mariners

The roof is the thing people misunderstand here. The ballpark has a retractable cover, but it is not a dome: it slides over the field to keep rain off while the sides stay open to the air. That means games are never cancelled for weather, and it also means closing the roof does not make the park warm. It stays whatever temperature Seattle is, minus the rain.

That matters because the season's edges are cool and damp in this part of the country. April and September evenings are jacket weather regardless of the roof, and visitors who assume a covered stadium is a heated one spend nine innings regretting it. Mid-summer is genuinely pleasant, and Seattle summer evenings stay light late enough that a night game can start in full daylight.

The park has a reputation for food that goes well beyond the usual stadium range, drawing on the city's restaurant scene rather than on concession contracts, and people plan around it. Arriving early is worth more here than at most parks for that reason alone.

For sightlines, the bowl is a modern asymmetric design, which means the outfield seating is not uniform and some sections sit at angles that a seating map flattens out. Seats behind home plate and along the infield lines are the safe choice. The upper deck is steep in the way most modern upper decks are, which gives a good view of the whole field and is a poor choice for anyone uneasy with heights.

Getting there is straightforward: the park sits south of downtown next to the football stadium, walkable from the centre and served by light rail. Roughly three hours is the usual length. Frequently asked questions

How much do Seattle Mariners tickets cost?

On PickStub, Seattle Mariners tickets currently start at $49. Across the 169 upcoming dates, the typical cheapest ticket is $105. Prices are live and change as listings sell.

Where can I find the cheapest Seattle Mariners tickets?

The lowest price right now is for New York Yankees vs Seattle Mariners on June 29, 2027 at Yankee Stadium, New York, from $49.

Are Seattle Mariners ticket prices going up?

Prices have held steady: over the last 30 days, the cheapest ticket for a typical Seattle Mariners date has barely moved.

Does the roof mean the stadium is warm?

No. The roof keeps rain off but the sides stay open, so the park stays at whatever temperature the city is. Games are not cancelled for weather, but you still need a jacket in spring and autumn.

When is the weather best?

Mid-summer. Seattle evenings stay light late, so night games can start in full daylight. April and September are cool and damp.

Is the food worth arriving early for?

Many people think so. The concessions draw on the city's restaurant scene rather than a standard stadium range, and it is a common reason to get there before first pitch.

Which seats are safest for sightlines?

Behind home plate and along the infield lines. The outfield seating is asymmetric and some sections sit at angles that a seating map does not convey.

Is PickStub affiliated with the Mariners?

No. PickStub is an independent marketplace with no affiliation to the Seattle Mariners, to Major League Baseball, or to the ballpark. Orders are covered by the PickStub buyer guarantee.
